Branch Manager

Taiga Building Products in Halifax, NS, is offering a full-time, permanent position for a Branch Manager. This high-impact role involves comprehensive oversight of the Halifax Branch’s operations, including sales, back-office functions, shipping/receiving, and administrative tasks. The selected candidate in this role will hold full profit and loss (P&L) accountability, presenting a true entrepreneurial opportunity within a leading organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Operations Management:  Oversee all aspects of branch operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.

Team Leadership:  Inspire, support, and manage your team, ensuring you have the best talent and that they have the tools and training needed to succeed.

Client Engagement:   Develop strong relationships with clients through regular in-person meetings, industry events and consistent follow-up.

Health and Safety Compliance:   Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all Taiga health and safety standards are met.

Financial Stewardship:  Prepare and manage sales and operations plans, monitor compliance and oversee capital expenditures.
